I have a cat, a raccoon,a possum that lost it's mate to the big bad road, two squirrels, buncha bluejays with their 'king',snakes come and go,some of those big rats that have a spanish name I can't think of, a whole gang of very loud crows, a donkey that visits me at the fence,'wild' pigs, coyotes, a family of armadillos, all the other birds, and the other human dependent animals that visit from time to time(cats and dogs). I'm leaving out the majority btw. These are the aquaintances I've made on a day to day basis.
The cat lives in the house and has learned cool people tricks like opening doors and dragging small trash bags to the trash can. The raccoon terrorizes the neighbors and hides in the barn. The possum hangs out under all the buildings and makes poopies. The crows like the bamboo and give concerts, the bluejays and king give the housecat hell(fun to watch), the squirrels bitch at me alot, the rats are scary and have shit all over everything that was in that shed, the donkey and me we shoot the shit and then he yells alot and wakes the neighbors up which I like very much, the pigs dig it all up, the coyotes hang out in the bamboo and the trees, the armadillos are digging it all up, and all the other birds make a racket too.
Food, water, protection from the elements. Freedom is dictated by these. Careful when you restrict freedom, it is not dictated by an opposable thumb or lump of mush in a helmet. We are surrounded.
forgot about the pigs, me and the pigs are not getting along, they are tearing up everything and they dug up my mycology and turnips.
btw, yes I wrote this in an almost delerious state after having stayed awake for 24+hours on a creativity binge.
