When I was younger fireworks shows were the shiznit. New Years Eve meant we got to make a hell of alot of noise and nobody gave a damn. It's that day, the one day, we were ok go for launch on raising hell.
My friends and I; we liked the loud ones. Drop a skyflower any day but make things thunder and we went bonkers. KABOOOM. g'damn now tha's a firework. I'm not sure why but rattle bones and you got a winner.
My suggestion:
This new years we turn up the bass. Now that's a winner. Rattle some bones. Everybody likes a good boom.
... and then those saturn missle batteries, the buzzbombs, the bottle rockets man, the bottle rockets, and those pesky roman candles. Have you ever seen a bunch of drunk rednecks with bottle rockets and roman candles around a big azz bonfire? Horizontal and vertical take on whole new meanings.
This girl, quote .. "I don't give my damn $$ to those damn arabs, sunsbidges send that shit to bin laaaadene. Y'know whut they need to do. Send 'bunch a damn schizzers over there. find that fucker in a day." .. in relation to buying a soda from a local convenience store and the subject of speed freaks ...
lifes a hoot.

Controlled Substance
"Controlled substance" is a relatively loose term when it comes to various prescription pharmaceuticals. I would imagine the big no no is to actually acknowledge the truth and call bullshit.
Xanax, Valium, Hydrocodone, Soma: These things are really controlled aren't they? (it's okay to laugh now)
Here's a bottom line the WOD won't acknowledge either. The pharm industry is not venture capitalism. In other words, they don't make a bunch of pills in the hopes that they will sell. Each and every one is accounted for and paid for when it leaves the facility it is made in. In other words, trace the illicit trade of prescription drugs, follow the dollar, and at the top of the food chain is the company that made it to begin with. They got their cut right off the top, everything after is middleman. Bottom dollar goes to the manufacturer.
So let's get something straight. The increasing availability of the above mentioned drugs in the illicit drug market is coming from the factories themselves. The pharm companies are your new drug lords.
When was the last time you saw an anti drug ad expounding on the dangers of muscle relaxers, anti-anxiety, and pain relievers? Right, you didn't. You won't. When was the last time you saw an anti drug ad expounding on the 'dangers' (insert sarcastic guffaw) of something they don't make? Right, every day.
It's called organized crime for a reason.
Just something to think about.
